Sabin’s R&D team is tackling two such threats: Sudan ebolavirus and Marburg virus disease. There are no approved vaccines for either of these viruses which have left behind a trail of outbreaks, ending many lives and livelihoods in Africa. Sabin’s vaccines are in Phase 2 clinical trials in Uganda and Kenya.
